DIY: Mod Podge Food Colored Glass Jar Lanterns
Jun 18, 2010 Creative Wedding Ideas, The Ceremony, The Reception
We recently had another DIY project for mason jar lanterns but this project is a little different. It uses any glass jars you can get from the store or thrift shop and shows you how to add a little color to the jars, adding another element to the lantern. You can paint the jars as shown on Gingerbread Snowflakes and then use our system for hanging them! Awesome! Check out Gingerbread Snowflakes for step by step instructions on how to make these Mod Podge Lanterns.

Fruit + Name Cards = Cute Reception Table Settings
Jun 11, 2010 The Reception
Fruits are natural and wholesome - and a perfect thing to use for your wedding reception’s table decorations! Today we’re looking at ideas for using fruit as a name card or place card for your wedding’s guests. The fruit adds a splash of color to your tables and it edible and usable by your guests. There’s less waste too (especially if you use recycled paper for any strips of paper around the fruit).
Okay, this one isn’t “fruit”, but buckets of pineapple flavored jelly beans - but it was too cute to not share!
