Table numbers are a simple project that you can assign to yourself, a bridesmaid, or a friend who would like to help out with the wedding. They add a unique touch to the wedding reception and creating them yourself is easy and a money saver. Coordinate your table numbers to match your wedding’s color and theme and you’ve got a great looking piece for your wedding reception!
Here are a few ideas for creating your own simple and elegant table numbers.
- Buy a set of business card sheets or create your own template or download a template for the exact measurements of the table numbers. Visit the Avery web site (http://www.avery.com) for free software that will help you create your table numbers. You can also find pre-made templates that you can use in Word.
- For your fonts: You can use stickers, rubber stamps, or download a nice font to create the numbers. Or, you can neatly print the number onto the cards. Some good places to get some cheap or free fonts are: Two Peas in a Bucket, ScrapVillage, and Scrap n Fonts.
- Use colors and paper that match your wedding colors.
- Embellish the table numbers with pretty stickers, rubber stamps, or diamond dots (featured in the photo sample).
