Are you looking for an alternative, cost saving and green wedding idea for your invitations? You can save a bit of paper (and money in your budget!) by including RSVP postcards in your invitations instead of the standard reply card and envelope.
Include the relevant response area on the back of your postcard RSVP’s with your address and postage stamps (you get to save a little bit here, too, by using postcard rate stamps). You could also have the responses required on the front of the postcard if you don’t know (or don’t want to) put anything else on the front. If you have the responses on the back, the front of the postcards can be anything – from your monogram, to a picture postcard, or a simple message. You’re going to be getting all the postcards back, so you can keep it simple and save a few for your wedding scrapbook.
