Wedding/Bridal Shoes - Unique Picks
Feb 25, 2009 Bridal Accessories, Brides Only
The shoes we’ll be showcasing today are probably not “traditional” wedding shoes in the sense that well… they’re not white. But they’re cute and stylish and you’ll be more likely to wear them again after the wedding - making these choices a better pick for your bridal gear (if you’re up to it)!

These Martinez Valero ‘Whisper’ Pumps remind us a little of Dorothy Gale, but without the popping red color and a much taller heel. The peep toe gives this shoe style and character and you’ll be able to glitz the night away at your reception with these heels on your feet. From Nordstrom.

It’s entirely possible we have a fetish with glitter and sequins, but let’s not delve into that issue any further except to say how cute are these shoes?! The gray color on these Seychelles ‘On the House’ Pump is a little more wedding traditional friendly, but that sparkly heel is not! Perfect!

The deep rich red color on these Via Spiga ‘Quinn’ Pumps makes our hearts go pitter-patter and the rose blossoms on the peep toe just really pull it all together for us. Don’t be shy about having colorful shoes on your wedding day - if you’re wearing a long dress no one will really see your shoes anyway except your guests might get a glance during the wedding dance and be surprised by your fabulous shoes. From Nordstrom.

These bright yellow Charles David ‘Pompadour’ Pumps have snake-embossed leather styling in such a bold and happy color - they’re sure to make your feet happy as you skip down the aisle. From Nordstrom.

These classicly great Mary Jane’s by Mardison Harding can be the perfect “something blue”! From Nordstrom.

Try JC Penney or Sears or payless shoes as payless sells dyeable satin shoes that you can buy in white or ivory and later you can dye them another color to match an everyday or Sunday outfit! Choose a style that you would be comfortable on the day of your wedding and comfortable enough to wear any day so as to use them again.
