Curly Hair for the Wedding Day - Fabric Curlers

Do you have super straight or thin hair that seems to refuse to curl but want curls for your wedding day? I myself have super straight hair that doesn’t seem to like to curl, but after seeing these fabric DIY hair curlers from the blog “Life with Monkey“, I think I might be able to easily get curly hair for any day of the week.

A few crafty gals have also posted their results making their own fabric hair curlers and posted results of their now curly hair. Over on craftster.com, keeperox posted her results. I love how her hair turned out in big curly waves and she posted photos of what her fabric curlers looked like, too.

Another craftster.com user, Dayzi, posted photos from her DIY wedding and her results with the fabric hair curlers on the board (see above). She’s got some great photos from her DIY wedding as well if you want to check them out and get a little more inspiration (she created her own wedding dress, her own veil, the bridesmaid dresses… etc. - true DIYer!).

The ladies who made their own fabric hair curlers created them with fabric and batting (instructions on the Life with Monkey blog above) and placed them into damp hair the night before and slept on it - and awoke to curly hair. The advantage with DIY curlers? Easier to sleep on since their made with fabric and batting. Remember to have a trial run before your wedding to make sure that it works well for your hair and to see how long it will last you through the day.
