Your donation goes directly to help grant wishes to women who have been diagnosed with terminal breast cancer and will creating a lasting memory for someone in need. You will receive a member packet with favor cards to place out at your reception or as table settings for your guests to read. As your reception, you can hand out Pink Donation Envelopes to your guests – they can fill them there or you can encourage them to send in a donation.

San Diego Wedding Insider - Create Your Own Wedding Card Post Box Wedding Card Post Box...
A wedding card post box is a decorated box with a slot at the top – your wedding guests can safely drop off their wedding cards to you into this box, ensuring that the cards don’t get lost. The post box can be placed at the reception entrance, near the gift table (if you are having one).

Here are some ideas on how to make your own wedding card post box:

· Find a simple, plain rectangular kraft box at your local craft store or packaging store. Decorate the box with papers, paint it white or a matching color from your wedding theme. Use stickers to spell out the couple’s name, along with the date of the wedding. Decorate with wedding themed stickers by Jolee, ribbon flowers, or other stickers. Put “Thank You” at the top near the slot.

· Another idea is to make a post box that looks like a wedding cake. Find three different sized round boxes (or hat boxes). Cut the bottom out of the two smaller boxes and glue together to form a cake shape. Decorate (maybe put a cake topper on it of a bride and groom, or a little photo frame of the couple) and place a slot at the top for easy card drops.

· Get together three different sized gift boxes (try the Container Store or other similar store). In the middle box, cut a slot out in the side to make a wide slot. Cut out the bottom of the middle box as well as part of the bottom box. Adhere boxes together and wrap with a matching ribbon so the stack looks like three packages wrapped together.

San Diego Wedding Insider - Snack Bar

Snack It Up...
Bring a little comfort to your wedding reception by having your favorite snacks displayed during your cocktail hour (or during your reception). Make them stand out by placing the goodies in various sized containers, such as a different clear or colored glass bowls or vases. Fill them with your favorite treats for noshing – pretzels, cookies, Little Debbie snacks, potato chips, popcorn you get the idea! You could also put out little paper bags for popcorn or chips for your guests to carry with them or to take home.
