Save a bit of paper by including RSVP postcards
in your invitations instead of the standard card and envelope.
Include
the relevant response area on the back of your postcard RSVP’s
with your address and postage stamps (you get to save a little
bit here, too, by using postcard rate stamps). You could also
have the responses required on the front of the postcard if
you don’t know (or don’t want to) put anything
else on the front. If you have the
responses on the back, the front of the postcards can be anything – from
your monogram, to a picture postcard, or a simple message. You’re
going to be getting all the postcards back, you can keep it simple. |

Create a flavored salt such as Rosemary
Salt or a flavored spice rub (use your own recipe with different
herbs and spices – do a Google search for tons of different
recipe ideas). Put the salt or spice rub into a small re-useable
jar that your guest can keep for a long time. Create a label
using your printer and some address labels from the office
supply store to put a finishing touch on your favors. You
can also include a tag for some suggested uses of the salt
or spice rub for your guests (such as, sprinkle on your chicken,
fish, or beef dishes – also great to flavor all of
your everyday cooking).
